Frequently Asked Questions

Here are a few of the most often asked questions, if you have one that isn’t here then drop me an email or message via my contact form here.

What if I’m not confident in front of the camera?

I am inspired by my 20 year career in theatre and film and a love of storytelling, I understand what it’s like to be in front of a camera, which makes me uniquely qualified to be the best possible person to photograph you, because I know both sides of it. We will go at your pace and take our time and i’ll help you find your inner model.

What happens if it looks like it’s going to be raining on my photoshoot day?

Ahh our lovely British weather! As we approach photoshoot day I will be keeping an eye on the weather and will get in touch with you if it’s not looking good and we will simply reschedule.

Can I have other pets and family in the shots?

Yes of course! The more the merrier. As you look around my website you will see a few doggies popping up here and there, also second and third horses and partners and parents! This is something that we can discuss during our preparation calls.

What do I wear for my photoshoot?

It’s important to be you, what to wear is something that we will discuss during our pre-shoot conversation.

What happens if my horse or pony won’t stand still, or is a little bit naughty during the photoshoot?

I have a lot of experience of working with all different types of horses and ponies, and plenty of patience! We will work with your horse to make sure they are happy, take lots of breaks, keep their interest and if the worst comes to the worse, we can reschedule. But don’t worry most of the time they won’t be as bad as you think and you will be surprised with how many shots that we still get.

What if the yard where my horse is isn’t ‘pretty’?

Believe it or not, all I need is a 2m square backdrop! There are always unique and interesting spots to be found for your photographs.
